Cover Art Released for The Triumph of Seeds

Thor's new book, The Triumph of Seeds, will feature a gorgeous new cover by Basic Books Art Director Nicole Caputo, who won seven design awards for her work on Feathers.  The Triumph of Seeds is now available for pre-order - look for it to hit the shelves in March 2015.

Tufted Puffins Proposed for Endangered Listing in Washington

New Edition of The Impenetrable Forest Released

Great news - a new edition of Thor's first book, The Impenetrable Forest, has just been released by Curtis Brown Unlimited.  The Kindle version is available now, with a trade paperback and other digital formats soon to follow.  The 2008 hardcover edition remains in print and available from 1500 Books.

Audio Version of Feathers Released!

An unabridged audio version of Feathers is now available!  Beautifully read by actor Andy Ingalls, the book is available in digital format for all devices from Audible.com.

Thor Hanson Awarded Guggenheim Fellowship

Thor is thrilled and honored to receive a fellowship from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, with supplemental funding from the Leon Levy Foundation.  The award is specifically to support completion of Thor's third book, The Triumph of Seeds, due from Basic Books in 2015.  Read the press release here, and read about Thor on the Guggenheim website here.
